• October is Rosary Month: Students will be praying the Rosary each day during the month of October.
Have your child bring a Rosary to school.
• Oct. 1st Sorry no Day Care available.
• October 4 is our Feast of Saint Francis Day. Formal uniform on this day for Holy Mass.
Make a card for our Franciscan Sisters.
• Character Counts Program: Pillar of the month for Oct. Is TRUSTWORTHINESS
• WASC days: Early dismissal days at 12:30 on Oct. 5, 12, 19
• Safe Moves Assembly for grades PK-5 on Oct. 22
• All Saints Parade on Wed. Oct. 31, dismissal at 12:30 Come dressed as a Saint!
Students should remain in school until dismissal time.
• SLE’s (Student Learning Expectations) Sending home a copy in October.
• Parental Consent forms for Internet must be returned.
• Please remember to send healthy snacks and or healthy lunches for your child.
• Free Dress for every 2 bottles of Soda donated (Sprite, 7 up, Coke or Pepsi).
The soda donation will begin Oct. 1. No free dress on days of Holy Mass.
• No school on October 26 due to a Faculty-In-Service
• Fiesta October 26, 27, 28 with No school on 29.
• ITBS testing starts Oct.2 Please schedule all Dr. Appointments after Oct.11
• Please follow the Safety Drop off and Pick up procedures.
• After School Enrichment Classes have begun, permission slips must be signed.
• Upcoming Fees due: Oct. 1 Graduation Fee for PK, K & 8th~
• Nov. 16 Communion Fee of $55 due on this day.
• Tax. Donation $160 due Nov. 16
• Oct. 2 Candy Buy-out
• Oct. 15 Candy money due ( no coins please)
• Emergency Blue Cards/Earthquake Cards missing from some families.
• Immunization Records due Oct. 12 for lst grade parents
• Kinder students must have an office Dental screening by Oct. 12
• Call the office when your child is absent and send an absence note to the teacher on the next day.
• Visitors must stop by the office to sign in. No exceptions!
• After school Day Care available. Students who are not picked up on time will be sent to Day Care.
